This Privacy Policy explains how Nvanshubh Creation and Prodution (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information about you when you visit nvanshubh.com, place an order, or correspond with us.

It applies to anyone who uses our site or buys from us, anywhere in the world. We follow the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 of India — and where you live elsewhere, the local data protection rules that apply to you.

We only collect what we need. Specifically:

• Identity & contact — name, phone number, email, delivery address. Given by you when placing an order.
• Order details — items you bought, quantity, price, any notes you sent us.
• Communication records — WhatsApp conversations and emails about your order, retained so we can refer back if there's a question later.
• Affiliate details (if you apply to our affiliate programme) — your name, email, phone, social handle, and the referral code we issue you.
• Site analytics — pages visited, time of visit, approximate location, device/browser. Used to understand how the site is used, not to track individuals.
• Cookies — a small affiliate-referral cookie if you visit via someone's share link, and standard Next.js / Vercel cookies used to run the site.

We do not collect or store your full payment-card or bank account details. When card payment is enabled, that information goes directly to our licensed payment processor.

We use the data we collect only for these specific purposes:

• Processing and dispatching your orders
• Talking to you about your order — confirmations, shipping updates, delivery questions
• Replying to any question you send us by email, WhatsApp, or the contact form
• Calculating affiliate commission and paying out balances
• Improving the site — fixing bugs, refining product copy, understanding which categories matter most to readers
• Meeting legal and tax obligations

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. We share data only with the small set of service providers that help us run the business:

• Courier partners (Bluedart, India Post, etc.) — they get your name, phone, and delivery address only.
• Payment processors (when enabled) — they receive the payment information you give them directly.
• Cloud infrastructure (Appwrite for our database, Vercel for hosting) — your data is stored on their servers under strong access controls.
• Affiliates — we tell our affiliates the total commission they've earned, but never the customer details behind those orders.
• Authorities — only if legally compelled to, through a valid court or regulator order under Indian law.

We keep order records for as long as required by Indian tax and consumer-protection law — currently a minimum of seven years.

Marketing-related data (if you ever opt in) is kept until you unsubscribe. Affiliate records are kept while your affiliate account is active, and for one year after it's closed in case of pending payouts or disputes.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 26 months and is not linked to your identity.

Your data lives on encrypted databases (TLS in transit, AES at rest) hosted by our cloud providers. Administrative access is limited to a small team and protected by strong passwords and where possible multi-factor authentication.

No system on the internet is 100% secure, and we won't pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities promptly, as required by the DPDP Act.

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable law, you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
• Ask us to delete your data, where we don't have a legal obligation to keep it
• Withdraw consent to any non-essential processing
• Complain to the Data Protection Board of India

To exercise any of these, email orders@nvanshubh.com — we'll respond within 30 days.

We use the smallest set of cookies and browser local storage we can get away with:

• Cart — the items in your bag, stored locally on your device so they don't disappear if you reload the page.
• Affiliate referral — if you arrived via a partner's share link, we store the referral code locally for 30 days so the affiliate gets credit if you order in that window.
• Session cookies — used to keep you logged in if you're a team member with admin access.

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser at any time. The site will keep working — you'll just lose the bag contents.

Our site sometimes links to other sites (couriers' tracking pages, social media, etc.). Once you leave nvanshubh.com, this Privacy Policy no longer applies — read the destination's own privacy policy.

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone in that age group. If you believe we have, please let us know and we'll delete the records immediately.

We'll update this policy if our practices change. The date at the top shows when the current version was published. For significant changes we'll also send a one-time notice by email to anyone whose data we hold.
