Fair, fast, and fully explained.
If your order isn't what you hoped for, we'll make it right. This document tells you exactly when, how, and how quickly that happens.

Quick summary
The 30-second version, before the details:
- You can cancel any order within 24 hours of placing it, or before it's dispatched — whichever is sooner — for a full refund.
- If your order arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, tell us within 48 hours of delivery — we'll replace or refund.
- Because we sell food and other consumables, we can't accept returns on opened or undamaged items for change of mind.
- Refunds reach your account within 5–7 business days of approval, depending on your bank or UPI provider.

Cancelling an order
You can cancel a pending order any time before we mark it as dispatched. Once a package leaves our workshop with the courier, it's no longer cancellable — it becomes a return (see below).
To cancel:
- Reply on the WhatsApp thread where you placed the order, OR
- Email orders@nvanshubh.com with the subject line “Cancel order <order number>”
We'll confirm the cancellation within one working day. If you'd already paid, a full refund is initiated on the same day.

When you can return something
Most of what we sell is consumable — food, oils, spices, sweets. For hygiene and food-safety reasons we cannot accept returns of opened or partially-used products, except in the specific cases listed below.
We will accept a return / issue a replacement or refund if any of the following happens:
- The product arrived damaged or leaking (broken jar, torn pouch, spilled contents)
- The product is defective (off-smell, contamination, manufacturing fault)
- We sent you the wrong item or wrong quantity
- The product was past or close to its best-before date at the time of delivery (less than 30 days of shelf life remaining)
- The order never arrived despite the courier marking it delivered, and we cannot trace it after a reasonable investigation
What we cannot accept: returns for change of mind, taste preferences, opened products that match the description, or products that have been stored or handled improperly after delivery (e.g. ghee left in sunlight).

How to request a return
You have 48 hours from delivery to report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. Reach us in any of these ways:
- WhatsApp on +91 99999 99999 with photos of the issue
- Email orders@nvanshubh.com with photos attached and your order number in the subject
Please include clear photographs of: the outer package, the affected item, and (if applicable) the batch / best-before label. We can't process a claim without these — they're what we need to file with the courier or our maker.
Once we've reviewed your request (usually within one working day) we'll confirm whether we're sending a replacement, a refund, or both. Some items may need to be returned to us — if so, we'll arrange a reverse-pickup at our cost.

Refund processing & timelines
Once a refund is approved by us, here's exactly how long it takes to reach you:

Refunds always go back to the original payment method. We don't issue cash refunds or refunds to a different account than the one used for payment.
If a refund doesn't reach you within the timelines above, write to us with your order number and we'll trace it with the payment gateway.

Partial refunds
Some situations call for a partial refund rather than a full one — for example, if one item in a multi-item order arrived damaged but the rest are fine. In those cases we'll refund the affected item plus a fair share of the shipping (proportional to the damaged item's value).
We'll always tell you the amount we're refunding and how we calculated it, before we initiate the transaction.

Shipping charges on returns
When the return is due to our fault (damaged, defective, wrong item, etc.), we cover all reverse-shipping costs and refund the original shipping charges with the order amount.
For order cancellations before dispatch, you get a full refund including any shipping you'd paid.
After dispatch, shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is our fault.

Special cases
A few situations have their own handling:
- Bulk / wholesale orders — terms are agreed in writing per order, and may differ from these standard timelines.
- Gift orders — replacements / refunds are issued only to the person who paid for the order, never the recipient.
- International orders — refunds for international customers may take an extra 5–10 working days due to bank intermediaries, and currency conversion is applied at the rate on the day of refund.
- Customs / regulatory issues — if an international parcel is rejected at customs and returned, we refund the order value minus any non-recoverable shipping and customs handling fees.

If we can't agree
We do our level best to resolve every refund question fairly and quickly. If for some reason we can't agree on the outcome, you're welcome to escalate to:
- The consumer-affairs portal of the Government of India at consumerhelpline.gov.in
- The grievance officer of your payment gateway / card provider for payment-related disputes
- Any local consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act 2019
Disputes are governed by Indian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra.
